Liz Ramírez-Weaver is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and bilingual in English/Spanish. In 2002 she received her Master of Social Work degree from Syracuse University. Liz’s clinical practice is rooted in a strengths-based approach that helps people identify the skills and resiliency they possess to face life’s daily challenges. Liz has experience helping people with anxiety, depression, relationship and family concerns, healthy living and positive body image, multi-cultural issues, trauma and grief. Liz’s goal is to provide culturally responsive mental health care to UVA students. Liz is a dance enthusiast and studies tap and ballet.
