The purpose of the Black Graduate and Professional Student Organization is to cultivate community within the University of Virginia to ultimately lead to the academic achievement of our student members.

The First-Generation Graduate Student Coalition (FGSC) is a new student organization committed to the support and empowerment of UVA’s first-generation graduate students through community building, professional development, and institutional visibility.

The Latin American Graduate Student Association (LGSA) at the University of Virginia is dedicated to fostering a welcoming, supportive, and inclusive environment for Latinx graduate students and professionals across UVA.

Grad/Professional Queer and Trans Students of Color (QTPOC) an organization dedicated to building community, offering support for students belonging to multiple marginalized identity groups and engaging meaningfully with both UVA and the local community.

The purpose of Shades of Sisterhood (SOS) is to create and encourage community between Female Graduate and Professional students within the Black Diaspora across UVa's grounds.

The Organization for UnderRepresented Students (OURS) is focused on providing a safe space for Ph.D. students from underrepresented backgrounds to come together and discuss the unique challenges we face.
