The Doctoral Diversity Dinner is an opportunity to celebrate the academic accomplishments of our graduate students and recognize 2022-2023 doctoral graduates. In continuing with tradition, a UVA Doctoral Alum will serve as the keynote speaker and share how they leveraged their UVA doctoral training and personal experiences to achieve success in the workforce. Our 2023 keynote speaker will be Dr. Edward Scott, Jr., a UVA alum and Assistant Professor of Social Work at the University of Houston Graduate College of Social Work.
