Laura Bassi Scholoarship

The Laura Bassi Scholarship, which awards a total of $8,000 thrice per annum, was established by Editing Press in 2018 with the aim of providing editorial assistance to postgraduates and junior academics whose research focuses on neglected topics of study, broadly construed. The scholarships are open to every discipline and the next round of funding will be awarded in April 2021, Application deadline: 31 March 2021. Results: April 25, 2021.

Faculty Scholar in The ABF/JPB Foundation Access to Justice Scholars Program

The American Bar Foundation (ABF) and The JPB Foundation invite scholars interested in studying access to justice to join the ABF’s intellectual community for The ABF/JPB Foundation Access to Justice Scholars Program. The goal of this program is to expand empirical access to justice scholarship by encouraging scholars to engage with this bourgeoning research field.

Ford Foundation Fellowship Program

The Ford Foundation seeks to increase the diversity of the nation’s college and university faculties by increasing their ethnic and racial diversity, maximize the educational benefits of diversity, and increase the number of professors who can and will use diversity as a resource for enriching the education of all students. Predoctoral, Dissertation, and Postdoctoral fellowships will be awarded in a national competition administered by the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine on behalf of the Ford Foundation.

Science, Mathematics, and Research for Transformation (SMART) Scholarship-for-Service Program

The goal of the Doctoral Scholars Program is to increase the number of minority students who earn doctorates and choose to become faculty at colleges and universities. The Southern Regional Education Board (SREB) Doctoral Scholars Program provides multiple layers of support — not only financial assistance and research funding, but also career counseling, job postings and a scholar directory for networking and recruiting to graduate students.
