Siva Venkadesh

Siva Venkadesh is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Psychology at University of Virginia. His research interests lie at the intersection of Neuroscience, Mathematics and Philosophy. He holds a master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence and a doctoral degree in Computational Neuroscience. At the University of Virginia, he studies multi-scale mechanisms of cortical network dynamics in normal and aberrant conditions utilizing neuro-imaging and computational models of cortical dynamics. His interdisciplinary research focuses on the optimization of cortical coordination dynamics in neurodegenerative conditions such as Parkinson’s disease.
