We know that people have very complicated relationships with the idea of “coming out.” This conversation will be an opportunity for folks to come together and share their own ideas what it means to “come out,” and perhaps critique queer/trans communities’ emphasis on the importance of coming out.

Join us at the UVA McIntire Amphitheatre for crafting and community. Stop by to pick up pins and flags that represent the beautiful person you are!

Had a tune stuck in your head all week? Got a song on your heart that you’ve just been dying to belt out in a judgement free space? Then join Shades of Sisterhood (SOS) and The Carter G. Woodson Institute for a karaoke night Friday October 13, 2023 at 5:30 PM (Minor Hall 110). There will be food, good singing, and great times!
