Reaching Out LGBT MBA Fellowship

The Reaching Out LGBT+ MBA Fellowship was created as a joint effort between top business school programs and Reaching Out to demonstrate that business schools are the top destination to develop the out LGBT+ and active ally business leaders of tomorrow. The LGBT+ MBA Fellowship recipients each receive a minimum of $20,000 total scholarship* and access to exclusive mentorship and leadership development programming through Reaching Out. Interested applicants are encouraged to describe any LGBTQ leadership roles in their resumes and application essays.

Out to Innovate™ Scholarship

The Out to Innovate™ Scholarship is intended for undergraduate and graduate students pursuing degrees in science, technology, engineering,or mathematics (STEM) programs who are either lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer or an active ally of the LGBTQ+ community. The scholarships are designed to promote academic excellence and increased visibility of talented LGBTQ+ students in STEM careers.

Kenneth W. Payne Student Prize

The Kenneth W. Payne Student Prize is presented each year by the Association for Queer Anthropology (AQA) to a graduate or undergraduate student in acknowledgement of outstanding anthropological work on 1) a lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender topic, or 2) a critical interrogation of sexualities and genders more broadly defined.

Ford Foundation Predoctoral, Dissertation and Postdoctoral Fellowships

The Ford Foundation seeks to increase the diversity of the nation’s college and university faculties by increasing their ethnic and racial diversity, maximize the educational benefits of diversity, and increase the number of professors who can and will use diversity as a resource for enriching the education of all students. Predoctoral, Dissertation, and Postdoctoral fellowships will be awarded in a national competition.

American Council of the Blind’s (ACB) Scholarship Program

The American Foundation for the Blind (AFB) and American Council of the Blind (ACB) have partnered together to offer educational scholarships ranging from $2,000 to $7,500 for those attending a technical college or attending university as an entering freshman, undergraduate, or graduate student. This program awards students with scholarships to help with post-secondary education financial needs such as tuition, fees, room and board, and other additional costs associated with adaptive technology.
